The UAS/high school course “Introduction to Mining Occupations and Operations” will start on Monday January 26, 2015, be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:15 - 6:00 pm, and will conclude on April 15. The University awards 3 UAS credits to students who successfully complete the course and provides full scholarship to pay all the costs of the course.

With many new exciting changes coming, and as we look forward to 2015, I want to wish everyone a safe, healthy and happy holiday season. Personally, 2014 has been an exciting year filled with big changes and lots of hard work. I am grateful to all the people in the communities I represent who have supported me and shared their hopes for a strong and healthy Southeast Alaska. Together, we can make positive changes that will ensure our children have a bright future.
