[BILL] HCR 1: PANCREATIC CANCER AWARENESS MONTH
Over 43,000 people were diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in the United States (US) in 2010. Almost 37,000 will die from the disease. Pancreatic cancer is the fourth leading cause of cancer death in the US and ranks as one of the deadliest cancers with no real improvement in survival rates in the last 40 years.

[BILL] HB 92: LAO VETERAN REGISTRATION PLATES
House Bill 92 would recognize and honor Lao veterans who fought in support of United States (US) military operations in the Kingdom of Laos between February 28, 1961, and May 15, 1975, by issuing new registration plates commemorating the owner’s service in combat.

[BILL] HB 39: UTILITY REFUNDS
This bill will better protect consumers in utility rate cases, by requiring a refund procedure be in place before the Regulatory Commission of Alaska (RCA) may allow a utility to charge an interim or refundable rate. When the RCA requires extended deliberation on a rate case, the commission often allows the utility to charge the proposed rate, but if they reject the rate the utility must refund customers with interest.

[BILL] HB 79: INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDERS
Autism is a devastating disorder affecting at least 1 in 100 children, accounting for 1% of America’s youth and 1 in 58 boys, according to the most recent study by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Despite being treatable, many children diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) never receive the treatment they need.
