NEWS: Town Hall Meeting Hosted by Sen. Gardner, and Reps. Drummond and Josephson this Saturday

ANCHORAGE – Senator Berta Gardner (D-Anchorage), Rep. Harriet Drummond (D-Anchorage), and Rep. Andy Josephson (D-Anchorage) will host a town hall constituent meeting this Saturday at the West Romig Library from 10am to 11:30am, for residents of Spenard, Midtown, and the UMed district. The meeting will be held in advance of the Second Session of the 29th Alaska Legislature, which begins on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 in Juneau.

ANCHORAGE – Today, the Anchorage Legislative Caucus announced its next public hearing in Anchorage will be January 9, 2016 at the Loussac Library. Representative Matt Claman (D-Anchorage) is the Democratic co-chair of the Anchorage Legislative Caucus and will co-chair the meeting with Representative Liz Vazquez (R-Anchorage), the Republican co-chair of the caucus.

In preparation for the legislative session and difficult budget decisions I have held several meetings with neighbors this fall, most recently on the 22nd and the 29th of December to gather feedback on Governor Walker’s budget proposal.
