Rep. Miller Calls for Facts on Getting Cook Inlet Gas to Fairbanks
February 1, 2012
If gas is there, it could be the cheapest, fastest way to lower Fairbanks energy costs
JUNEAU – Today, Representative Bob Miller (D-Fairbanks) introduced legislation (HB 308) to study the potential for meeting Fairbanks and Interior energy needs by building a small-diameter natural gas pipeline from Cook Inlet to Fairbanks.

Rep. Kawasaki’s Juneau Note: Energy, Education and Going RED
January 31, 2012
The House Resources Committee heard a resolution urging the US Congress to take over Central Park. Many of you may have heard and seen the media attention surrounding HJR 31, a resolution. While I may have found the attempt humorous, most importantly, it’s a huge waste of time and state money.

October 5, 2011
Here’s some good news and bad news. I’ll give you the bad news first-because, well, it’s not that bad. Don’t jump before you get to the good news. Ooh. That’s a bad sentence. Don’t jump at all, even after you get to the good news. That’s better.
Oh, and thanks to at least two of you for voting to make me an Anchorage Press Pick as Anchorage’s “Favorite Legislator”. Maybe even more than two of you sent in votes? I’ve been trading this award with Mike Doogan, I think, um, because most of those Anchorage Press newspaper racks are in our districts?
