Hello! It’s been great to be back in Fairbanks since returning from session in Juneau. I really appreciate the “hands-on” and personal touch, shaking hands and chatting in the stores and at Fox Springs! There will be lots of events and opportunities to enjoy the fantastic summer here in the Interior again, so I hope to see and talk with you all. Dear Neighbors,
Yesterday at 5:26 pm the house adjourned from special session. With the passage of legislation toughening laws against sex trafficking and the Governor’s unprecedented withdrawal of his oil tax bill, the only issue remaining before the legislature was legislation promoting a small diameter gas pipeline from the North Slope to Nikiski.
