Rep. Tuck’s Newsletter: Medicaid Expansion and Marijuana Control Board

Rep. Tuck Newsletter Recently Governor Walker announced that, by executive order, he was bypassing the legislature to expand Medicaid. I support this move. A small group of legislators stood in the way and dragged the legislature though an expensive overtime session for something that would have passed if it was ever brought for a vote. I applaud the Governor in using every tool possible to bring millions of dollars in federal funding, and providing 40,000 more Alaskans with easily accessible and more efficient health care, thus creating more jobs and strengthening an economy much in need.
