Juneau – Alaska is food insecure, with only 3-5 days of food supply in grocery stores. Representative Geran Tarr (D-Anchorage) is continuing her work to address food security by hosting the Second Annual Alaska Food Security Awareness Week, which will run through March 25th with events in Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau, and Sitka. This important legislation will give children and teens tools to protect themselves from dating and sexual violence.
