As expected, the Governor’s new gas line proposal has dominated much of the legislature’s discussions this session. Although the deal is far from done, and may not ultimately be the right path forward, the development of our natural gas reserves is a critical goal for the future of our state. It is essential that Alaskans have access to good information so we can negotiate a good deal for the long-term.

First, if there is an issue before the Alaska Legislature that you are concerned about or supportive of, please come and speak up to the Anchorage Caucus from 9:00am to 2:00pm in the Assembly Chambers at the Loussac Library. I’ll be co-chairing the meeting.
