A lot has happened over the last 7 days! While I wish I was writing you to say that we’ve completed our 90-day Session and will be heading home tomorrow, that is sadly not this case. As 5:00 p.m. rolls around there’s still a long list of bills to hear and vote for on the Floor, and it doesn’t look like we’ll be packing up and heading north tomorrow. Tomorrow is the last day of the regular session and the house is moving legislation that was previously put on hold to prioritize the budget. HB 247, Oil and Gas Tax Credits, passed out of Finance Committee and made its way to the floor where it was then sent back to the Rules Committee.
