Rep. Bob Miller’s Newsletter: St. Baldrick’s; Education; PFD; Choose Respect; Redistricting;
The recent St. Baldrick’s event was a huge success. Our team raised over $30,000 to help fund research for kids experiencing the terrible effects of cancer. I was very happy to be part of the Alaska Legislature team and your donations helped us raise more money than several other teams throughout Alaska. Rep. Petersen’s Report from the Capitol: Anchorage Caucus Meeting Saturday; Computer Privacy, Pancreatic Cancer Bills on the Move
I hope you will be able to make it to the Anchorage Caucus meeting tomorrow (Saturday) at 10 am in the Assembly Chambers at the Loussac Library. I am very supportive of more oil production and more jobs for Alaskans. However, information discovered during review of HB 110 has raised serious questions about the best way to spur more oil production and jobs. Below is a longer discussion of the oil tax issue.
