Today, Anchorage Legislative Caucus co-chair Chris Tuck (D-Anchorage) invited Anchorage residents to come share their ideas, concerns, and experiences with Anchorage-area legislators in the Alaska state House and Senate this Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at the Loussac Library. In addition to public testimony, the meeting will include brief presentations on ongoing and proposed state projects in and around Anchorage.

Five days from now I will pack up the car and begin the drive to Haines, at which point I will board a ferry headed to Juneau. In my previous newsletter I may have mislead you regarding the start date of the legislative session. To be clear, the first day of session is Tuesday January 21, 2014.
