Governor Walker outlined both short and long-term plans to deal with a daunting fiscal crisis brought on by declining oil production and prices. The House Minority, made up of Democrats and an Independent, appreciates the care Governor Walker took in suggesting ideas for the Alaska Legislature to consider in the coming months.

Wade decision with a press conference Thursday, January 22 at the State Capitol. The Senators and Representatives will also announced their women’s issues agenda and discuss women’s health and safety legislation they plan to introduce during the first session of the new 29th Alaska Legislature.
