Thanking Our Veterans
Your Service Will Not Be Forgotten
Dear Neighbors, Veterans Day is a time for us to come together and honor the sacrifices our veterans and their families have made in defense of our freedom. Please join me in thanking all veterans and active duty military for their service. We owe a great debt of gratitude to these men and women, many of whom have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

Rep. Tuck meeting with Alaska Territorial Guard member Sigurd Edwards and his grandson Shane Brown.

Legislation Would Waive Park Fees For Seniors and Veterans
Last legislative session I introduced House Bill 69, which would waive all state park fees for veterans and seniors over 65. This would include rental of public use cabins, admission to visitor centers, and use of boat ramps. I hope to see passage of this legislation in the upcoming session—it is the least we can do for our veterans and seniors.
A Thank You To Veteran’s Memorial Fundraiser Attendees
I would like to thank everyone who joined me in attending Wednesday’s event to benefit the renovation of the Anchorage Veterans Memorial. The funds raised will help pay for needed improvements to the memorial, including adding the names of newly fallen soldiers and making it accessible to the disabled.
