Honoring Veterans Day
Event to Support Veterans Museum

Dear Neighbors,

I hope this Veterans Day, Monday, November 11, you will join me in taking a moment to honor the men and women who have sacrificed so much in defense of our nation and our freedoms.

I would also like to bring to your attention the 12th annual meeting, dinner, & auction which will raise funds for the Alaska Veterans Museum this Saturday:

You are cordially invited to attend the Alaska Veterans Museum 12th Annual Meeting, Dinner & Auction of the Alaska Veterans Museum at the Coast International Inn.

The Alaska Veterans museum honors Alaskan Veterans’ service and sacrifice.  Visitors relive stories of Alaska’s servicemen and women through oral histories, documentaries, artifacts, uniforms, pictures posters and models. Alaska’s unique military history, where all five armed Services had a role in governing and shaping our state, comes alive with a trip to the Alaska Veterans Museum.

When and Where:

3450 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage

(off Spenard - can be seen from International Airport Road)

6:00 - 10:00 PM on Saturday, November 9th 

$65.00 single or $120.00 per couple

Two entrees (beef & chicken) buffet, two vegetables, three salads, rolls, dessert, coffee or tea

No host bar in the McKinley Room
