Constituent Meetings & Public Safety

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

I was so happy to see everyone at the constituent meetings this week.  We enjoyed salad, breadsticks, and great conversation at Tyson Elementary, Wonder Park Elementary, and the Anchorage Unitarian Universalist Church.

A number of important issues came up at the meetings, such as ways to reduce vehicles speeding through residential neighborhoods.  We also discussed the need for more safe senior housing, with consistent care policies and regulations.  Furthermore, during snowy months, we want to make sure our streets are cleared and that there is room to maneuver on the road.  I also answered questions from a few constituents regarding the recent ENSTAR rate raising.
If you couldn’t make one of the meetings, but have a question or comment, please call or e-mail me and let me know!

One of the most important topics of discussion was public safety.  I’ve recently learned some very interesting information about the proper way to report different types of crime and how important it is to make sure to report!
