SEPTEMBER 25, 2014 Special Day with Kids Dear Friends and Neighbors, 
Today started with something very special. I am so honored that acclaimed children’s author Julie Cook wanted to meet me. I attended her presentation at Susitna Elementary and it was awesome! She has great books for social and emotional learning and dealing with child abuse. Her books are just what we need for Erin’s Law! We will keep pushing to keep our kids safe! Right: Julie Cook and Rep. Tarr present Ms. Cook’s books Straight from the Horse’s Mouth and The Kid Trapper. Both books are written to help children with the struggles they might encounter in their lives, such as not being believed when reporting child sexual abuse.
