AUGUST 8, 2014 August Primary Elections Dear Friends and Neighbors, Early voting for this year's August 19th Primary election began Monday! Voting early has many benefits: it provides greater access to voting, avoids waiting in line on Election Day, and is reported to improve both voter satisfaction and poll worker performance. Also, if you’re on the University campus on August 18, between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm, you can vote at the UAA Student Union the day before the election. August 19, 2014 Primary Election Day – Polls open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
