Today: Public Testimony for PFD Bill
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Today in the House Finance Committee, there will be public testimony for the PFD bill, SB 128. You can go to the Anchorage Legislative Information Office building located at 716 W. 4th Avenue, or call in at 844-586-9085, before 4:30 if you want to testify. Please limit your testimony to 2 minutes. You can also view the Finance Committee meeting, and listen in on Gavel to Gavel.
If SB 128 passes, it will make significant changes to the PFD, which will include limiting the annual PFD checks to $1,000 for the next two years. Click here for a better understanding on the impact this could have on Alaska’s economy.
