“As a voter and concerned Alaskan, I urge you to OPPOSE any legislation amending the state constitution for the purpose of creating vouchers that will use public money to pay for private and religious schools. Vouchers take much needed funding and engaged families away from our already underfunded public schools. Research has shown no measurable improvement in learning for children attending voucher schools. I urge you to vote NO on any voucher legislation, including the current House Joint Resolution 1 and Senate Joint Resolution 9.”
