UAS INTRO TO MINING CLASS

Dear Neighbors,

The UAS/high school course “Introduction to Mining Occupations and Operations” will start on Monday January 26, 2015, be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:15 - 6:00 pm, and will conclude on April 15. The University awards 3 UAS credits to students who successfully complete the course and provides full scholarship to pay all the costs of the course.

Students can still register, and will need the Director of UAS Center for Mine Training Career Education Mike Bell’s signature to gain admission into the course. Communication may be difficult until UAS opens up again on January 5, 2015, however, he will answer any inquiries that are sent to his University of Alaska Southeast e-mail address gmbell@uas.alaska.edu or you can contact him on his cell phone at 723-1146.
