October Events and Election Day Information
Dear Neighbors,
Election Day is Coming Up!
Election Day is November 8 and you have until Sunday, October 9, to make sure your voter registration is up-to-date. You can find a full list of candidates here.
Not sure where your polling place is? You can find it here or avoid the lines and vote early at the Fairbanks Division of Elections office, located at 675 7th Ave, starting on October 24.
Speaking of Elections….
Ethics law prohibits legislators from distributing official correspondence in the last 30 days leading up to an election. You may not hear from me, but my office is still open! My staff and I are always available to help you in any way we can in our capacity as a legislative office. Call, e-mail or stop by!

The annual Alaska Federation of Natives conference is back in Fairbanks! This year they will be looking back on the last 50 years and ahead to the generations to come with the theme “Reflect, refresh, renew.” Hope to see you there as I help present a citation to honor the monumental anniversary at 9am on Friday, October 21.
• Halloween at the Museum: October 31, 4pm-7pm
See bones, bugs, bats, and birds and take a tour of the Museum of the North. Don’t forget to wear a costume! Donations of canned food items for the Fairbanks Community Food Bank are encouraged.
I hope you all have a safe and fun Halloween and I look forward to seeing you around town. As always, you can reach out to me anytime via email, Facebook, Twitter, phone, or my office--see contact info below.
