Traffic Update
Road Closure to Start on Dec. 20

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

I hope you are all enjoying the holiday season.  It came to my attention that there will be a road closure in the district and I wanted to make sure you all were aware so you can plan accordingly.

Beginning Saturday, December 20, 2014 through Sunday, January 4, 2015, Providence Drive will be CLOSED between Piper Street/Seawolf Drive and Spirit Drive for construction of the UAA pedestrian bridge. Eastbound and westbound Providence Drive will also have lane closures in place leading up to the closure area.  Both Piper Street and Spirit Drive will remain open during this time, but will also have lane restrictions in place.

The detour route will use the following roads: Lake Otis Parkway, Northern Lights Boulevard, UAA Drive, Providence Drive, Elmore Road, and Tudor Road. 

Please expect some delays in the U-Med area and follow signed detour routes.
