GOLDHILL Road Construction

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

JUST LETTING YOU KNOW WHAT’S HAPPENING!

I’m still working in Juneau for the special session, but I wanted to reach out to let you know about upcoming road work in the community. 

Work will begin Monday, June 20, on the Goldhill Road Bicycle and Pedestrian Facility project. This project will widen the shoulders on Goldhill Road to accommodate bicycles and pedestrians. The project will also include resurfacing the roadway, approach work, signing and striping.

Drivers can expect flagging and pilot car operations, as well as single-lane traffic. Work is scheduled to take place from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday. This project is expected to wrap up in mid-September, before the equinox marathon.
