House Bill 435 "Labeling of Fish in Restaurants" | ||
House Bill 435 requires restaurants to state on their menus whether the fish it is serving is wild or farmed. State law currently provides that farmed fish be identified on the label when the fish is sold at the retail level, but does not provide for labeling fish when sold in restaurants. Restaurant consumers in Alaska deserve the same information to help them make healthy choices when eating fish at a restaurant. | ||
