Welcome to my web site! I would like to share with you my newsletters, committee assignments and proposed legislation. I am very honored to represent the diverse population of District S. My district consists of 52 villages spreading through the whole of Arctic Alaska from the Canadian border to the mouth of the Yukon and onto Nunivak Island.

Being an Alaskan all my life, I take great pride in being involved in Alaska's issues and the challenges for our future. My principal interest in the 2004 Legislative session is to sustain a high quality in education and health care delivery system in the face of declining revenues. My other priorities are to determine a stable, long-term fiscal plan and to resolve the subsistence controversy.
