As an Alaska State Senator, I am privileged to serve my constituents in Mountain View, Northeast, and Russian Jack. I encourage and appreciate your input and feedback on national, state, local, and neighborhood issues. The more I hear from you, the better I can be at serving the whole community.
- Many of you have voiced your concerns about our neighborhoods. I want to remind you of the great venue Community Councils provide for voicing your concerns about the things mattering most in your specific neighborhood.
Community Councils cover a wide variety of issues each month from liquor license renewals to neighborhood projects, from road construction to traffic and crime issues. Think about getting involved. Community Council is a great chance to voice your opinion about issues affecting your neighborhoods.
Which is my Community Council?
- Mountain View Community Council is everything north of the Glenn Highway and east of Viking Drive.
- Northeast Community Council is Boniface to Muldoon and from Northern Lights to the Glenn Highway.
- Russian Jack Park Community Council is everything from Boniface to Bragaw and Northern Lights to the Glenn Highway.
Who can be a member of Community Council?
- Any resident, business, or organization in the boundary areas.
Where does my Community Council meet?
