Things are heating up here in the Capitol!

The House Finance Committee is considering the operating budget and the Senate Finance Committee begins discussions on POMV (percent of market value) proposals this week.

There will be opportunities for the public to comment on the POMV proposals. The Senate Finance Committee will take public testimony:

(The Statewide Public Testimony will be available by teleconference. Interested public members are encouraged to be available to testify at the beginning of the meeting. The Senate Finance Committee may adjourn before the stated time if no Alaskans wish to testify.)
