ALERT!!!
OPERATING BUDGET IN SENATE FINANCE
The Senate Finance Committee will hold
hearings on Governor Murkowski's operating budget (House Bills 75 and
76)
starting Tuesday April 15th at 5:00 pm. On Tuesday
April 15th, the Senate Finance Committee will
meet to adopt the Budget Sub-Committee reports. The reports will
then be posted on the Legislative Finance Division's website. Click

Public testimony will only be taken on
Tuesday April 15th and Wednesday April 16th
Special
Instructions-You are allowed to testify on any subject, but there
is a two-minute limit to your testimony. Also, your testimony will
only be accepted during the time allotted for your community. If
you call at a different time you will
have to
call back. If there is a Legislative Information Office in your
area (see list below), you are required to go to the LIO to testify.
ONLY
individuals from rural areas without LIO access will be allowed
to call in.
