Dear Friends and Neighbors, Happy Thanksgiving! As we congregate with friends, family, and good food, we remember why we celebrate this historic holiday: to gather in unity and to humbly reflect upon all we have to be thankful for. This Thanksgiving, may we also remember to observe the “giving” portion of the holiday by lending a hand to those in need. Ways to Give Back this Holiday Season Bean’s Café As Bean’s Café works hard preparing meals for Thanksgiving Day, there are still a number of items that will help support their effort. Those items include turkey, ham, stuffing cubes, dinner rolls, butter, and canned cranberry sauce. Click here to view a complete list of items and to learn about making a donation to Beans Café.
Food Bank of Alaska Giving Tuesday, November 29th - Fill a Plate for Your Neighbor You can honor the spirit of giving on Tuesday, November 29, with a donation to fill plates for your neighbors in need. Click here to donate or set up a #GivingTuesday team.
