August 2007
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
It is hard to believe that we are already into August and that
the fall is rapidly approaching. Soon our children will return
to school and we will be preparing for another winter season.
I hope that you were all able to enjoy the summer activities
in Alaska as much as I have since returning from Juneau in May.
By this time you should have received a copy of my 2007 Interim
Newsletter in your mailbox at home. I have attached the electronic
version to this e-News. Contained in the newsletter is information
about the legislation that I passed this year and all of the
Capital Budget Appropriations that benefit District 27.
Please do not hesitate to contact my office in Anchorage with
any thoughts, questions, or concerns. You can reach either me
or my staff in the office at 269.0117 (8-4:30 Monday –Friday)
or 24 hours a day via email at Rep_Bob_Buch@legis.state.ak.us .
All
the best,

GOVERNOR PALIN SIGNS SENIOR CARE BILL
ON PARK STRIP

I was honored to be in attendance at the Governor’s Picnic
last Saturday for the signing of the Senior Care Bill into law.
It is imperative that we do all that we can to protect and care
for those older Alaskans who have given so much to our communities
and our state as a whole.
REPRESENTATIVES TOUR PROPOSED

I am pleased to have seen the area for myself and honored to
live is such a magnificent state with countless natural resources.
REP. BUCH AND OTHERS CELEBRATE THE COMPLETION
OF NEW ANCHORAGE LANDMARK
It was a great pleasure to celebrate the completion of the new
fifteen story office complex in midtown that was built with all
unionized labor. Having spent my career in the trades, I am particularly
glad to see a landmark project such as this one in our fair city.
